HK$122.29 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$17.22 billion, or 14.08% of the
market's turnover. There were 666 short-selling stocks. XIAOMI-W (01810) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.01 billion and HK$949.93
million, or 5.84% and 5.52% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 20.85% and 23.04% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$937.45 million and HK$934.86
million of short sales, accounting for 5.44% and 5.43% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 22.03% and 16.37% of respective stock's
turnover.
XIAOMI-W closed down HK$1.2, or 4.23%, to HK$27.2. CSOP HS TECH ended down HK$0.006, or
0.14%, to HK$4.146. MEITUAN-W rose HK$2.3, or 1.42% to HK$164.3. TRACKER FUND declined by
HK$0.02, or 0.1%, to HK$19.27.
