[ET Net News Agency, 15 May 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$325.39 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$71.57 billion, or 22% of the market's turnover. There were 844 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$19.48 billion and HK$6.81 billion, or 27.22% and 9.52% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 57.32% and 59.77% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) registered HK$6.6 billion and HK$1.93 billion of short sales, accounting for 9.23% and 2.7% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 45.83% and 18.45% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.44, or 1.66%, to HK$26.12. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$1.7, or 1.87%, to HK$89.1. CSOP HS TECH fell HK$0.13, or 2.62% to HK$4.83. XL2CSOPHYNIX declined by HK$14.08, or 13.41%, to HK$90.92.
