There were 855 short-selling stocks. XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$7.32 billion and HK$5.88 billion, or 10.22% and 8.21% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 47.26% and 44.15% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$5.36 billion and HK$5.08 billion of short sales, accounting for 7.48% and 7.09% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 18.09% and 44.62% of respective stock's turnover.
