[ET Net News Agency, 25 November 2024] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$78.18 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$15.82 billion, or 20.23% of the
market's turnover. There were 642 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.65 billion and HK$2.18
billion, or 16.77% and 13.8% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 48.56% and 74.07% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$1.48 billion and HK$603.93 million
of short sales, accounting for 9.35% and 3.82% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 67.38% and 25.83% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.06, or 0.31%, to HK$19.28. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.028, or 0.67%, to HK$4.132. HSCEI ETF fell HK$0.28, or 0.4% to HK$69.84. XIAOMI-W
declined by HK$0.45, or 1.58%, to HK$28.1.
