HK$183.26 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$32.86 billion, or 17.93% of the
market's turnover. There were 679 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.17 billion and HK$2.87
billion, or 12.71% and 8.73% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 48.48% and 67.64% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$2.52 billion and HK$1.78 billion of
short sales, accounting for 7.67% and 5.43% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 67.82% and 13.36% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.05, or 0.26%, to HK$19.29. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.008, or 0.19%, to HK$4.152. HSCEI ETF fell HK$0.26, or 0.37% to HK$69.86. BABA-W
jumped HK$1.25, or 1.55%, to HK$81.95.
