[ET Net News Agency, 28 July 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$250.3
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$38.21 billion, or 15.26% of the market's
turnover. There were 733 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.5 billion and HK$3.4 billion, or
14.4% and 8.91% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
43.16% and 35.98% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and PING AN (02318) registered HK$3.28 billion and HK$1.38 billion
of short sales, accounting for 8.58% and 3.62% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 49.41% and 23.9% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.18, or 0.7%, to HK$26.06. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$0.32, or
0.34%, to HK$93.94. CSOP HS TECH 0flat to HK$5.57. PING AN jumped HK$1.9, or 3.49%, to
HK$56.4.
