[ET Net News Agency, 8 December 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$115.4 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$14.38 billion, or 12.46% of the
market's turnover. There were 763 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.96 billion and HK$1.32
billion, or 13.64% and 9.21% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 45.49% and 41.08% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$926.37 million and HK$712.43
million of short sales, accounting for 6.44% and 4.96% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 13.51% and 39.91% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.26, or 0.99%, to HK$26.02. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$1, or
1.06%, to HK$93.26. XIAOMI-W fell HK$0.68, or 1.59% to HK$42.1. CSOP HS TECH remained
flat, to HK$5.54.
