[ET Net News Agency, 8 December 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$206.23 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$30.69 billion, or 14.88% of the
market's turnover. There were 805 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.64 billion and HK$2.86
billion, or 11.87% and 9.32% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 42.82% and 43.14% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$1.88 billion and HK$1.65 billion
of short sales, accounting for 6.12% and 5.37% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 18.11% and 44.59% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.3, or 1.14%, to HK$25.98. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$1.1, or
1.17%, to HK$93.16. XIAOMI-W fell HK$0.2, or 0.47% to HK$42.58. CSOP HS TECH jumped
HK$0.005, or 0.09%, to HK$5.545.
