[ET Net News Agency, 10 December 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$95.74 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$15.97 billion, or 16.68% of the
market's turnover. There were 755 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and POP MART
(09992) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.82 billion and HK$572.1
million, or 11.38% and 3.58% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 44.18% and 30.75% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and CCB (00939) registered HK$492.24 million and HK$490.95 million of
short sales, accounting for 3.08% and 3.07% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 10.96% and 47.53% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.08, or 0.31%, to HK$25.54. POP MART ended up HK$0.8, or
0.42%, to HK$191.1. BABA-W rose HK$0.9, or 0.6% to HK$151.8. CCB declined by HK$0.07, or
0.92%, to HK$7.54.
