[ET Net News Agency, 10 December 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$193.39 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$37.53 billion, or 19.4% of the
market's turnover. There were 803 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W
(09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.05 billion and HK$1.48
billion, or 10.79% and 3.96% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 40.27% and 15.93% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.31 billion and HK$1.16 billion
of short sales, accounting for 3.48% and 3.1% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 24.58% and 13.15% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.08, or 0.31%, to HK$25.7. BABA-W ended up HK$2.3, or 1.52%,
to HK$153.2. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.01, or 0.18% to HK$5.455. TENCENT jumped HK$0.5, or
0.08%, to HK$603.
