[ET Net News Agency, 15 December 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$204.29 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$35.8 billion, or 17.53% of the
market's turnover. There were 799 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and PING AN
(02318) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.14 billion and HK$2.22
billion, or 11.56% and 6.2% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 32.25% and 40.58% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$1.72 billion and HK$1.57 billion of
short sales, accounting for 4.81% and 4.39% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 30.91% and 20.33% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.32, or 1.22%, to HK$25.84. PING AN ended up HK$1.5, or
2.35%, to HK$65.25. XIAOMI-W fell HK$1.12, or 2.61% to HK$41.84. HSCEI ETF declined by
HK$1.56, or 1.68%, to HK$91.4.
