[ET Net News Agency, 15 April 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$245.59
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$37.96 billion, or 15.46% of the market's
turnover. There were 822 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.2 billion and HK$3.07
billion, or 8.42% and 8.09% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 50.55% and 28.18% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and AIA (01299) registered HK$1.63 billion and HK$1.43 billion of short
sales, accounting for 4.3% and 3.77% of the total short sales values respectively. The
transactions represented 13.24% and 37.74% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.064, or 1.35%, to HK$4.814. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.04,
or 0.15%, to HK$26.24. BABA-W rose HK$4.1, or 3.29% to HK$128.6. AIA declined by HK$3.15,
or 3.62%, to HK$83.85.
