HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 24,884

[ET Net News Agency, 24 March 2026] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 501 points to 24,883. The Hang Seng Index now rose 501 points, or 2.1% to
24,883; with market turnover of 198.96b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
136 points, or 1.6% to 8,443; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 66 points, or 1.4% to
4,778.
AIA (01299) now rose HK$5.1, or 6.4% to HK$84.45, with turnover of HK$1.46b; TENCENT
(00700) rose HK$12.1, or 2.4% to HK$510.5, with turnover of HK$8.29b; HSBC HOLDINGS
(00005) rose HK$3, or 2.5% to HK$121.9, with turnover of HK$1.32b. (ed)
