HSI extends its drop to 1,000+ pts and is now at 24,277

[ET Net News Agency, 23 March 2026] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more than
1,000 points, or 1,000 points to 24,277. The Hang Seng Index now fell 1,000 points, or 4%
to 24,277; with market turnover of 247.47b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell
303 points, or 3.5% to 8,271; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 189 points, or 3.9% to
4,682.
AIA (01299) now fell HK$6.95, or 8.1% to HK$79.1, with turnover of HK$1.84b; BABA-W
(09988) fell HK$5.6, or 4.5% to HK$118.1, with turnover of HK$11.28b; HSBC HOLDINGS
(00005) fell HK$5.5, or 4.4% to HK$119, with turnover of HK$2.67b. (ed)
