Hong Kong Observatory Open Day 2024
Description
The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) will organise HKO Open Day on 30 November (Saturday) and 1 December (Sunday) 2024. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. This Open Day will not only showcase the various services of HKO and enhance public understanding and awareness of climate change and extreme weather, it will also give a brief overview of the long-standing collaboration between HKO and the meteorological authorities in Mainland China and around the world over the years.

Deadline to apply for free admission tickets: November 1, 2024 12:00nn
If the number of applicants exceeds the limit, the application will be processed by computer lottery. Those who successfully obtain the tickets will receive the QR code tickets via email on or before November 16, 2024. Visitors must hold a valid admission ticket to visit.

Note: In addition to on-site visits, members of the public can also visit the Observatory’s Open Day online starting from November 30, 2024.
