Amidst market volatility, Amazon (US.AMZN) and Alphabet (US.GOOGL) have been rated by analysts as the most valuable holdings for 2026, thanks to their core business advantages and AI strategies. Both tech giants' latest quarterly results demonstrate strong growth momentum, with cloud services and AI applications emerging as key future growth engines. Amazon Web Services (AWS) reported third-quarter revenue of $33 billion, a 20.2% year-over-year increase, marking its fastest growth in 11 quarters, reaching an annualized revenue of $132 billion. Operating profit rose to $11.4 billion, and the total value of outstanding orders exceeded $200 billion, reflecting continued strong enterprise demand for AI. The group plans to invest $125 billion in capital expenditure to expand data centers by 2025 and expects its power capacity to double by 2027. Alphabet's third-quarter revenue surpassed $100 billion for the first time, reaching $102.3 billion, a 16% year-over-year increase. Google Cloud revenue rose 34% to $15.2 billion, with operating margin expanding to 23.7%. The AI model Gemini has over 650 million monthly active users, and its cloud contract backlog reached $155 billion, a 46% increase from the previous quarter.
